Our Historical Society was founded by Bea Ball and Patrick Alesse. Together with the help of other members they established an historical society and proceeded to do all the things required to be an official organization. They filed the paper work to be a legal non-profit 5013c organization. Employer Identification Number 84-4332169.
They developed a mission and vision statement.
They also produced the bylaws for the organization.

The Birch Bay Historical Society Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized to collect and preserve the
history and legends of Washington’s local area to support research, education and publications involving the region and develop an historical museum and research library devoted to these
endeavors..
Vision Statement
To be the premier museum and library facility that will broaden perspectives and knowledge of the
Birch Bay region and its cultures.
